CHRISTMAS E-CARDS SPARKLE AND CHIME

E-Card: Holiday Sparkle

Christmas holidays... our heads spin.... time races....we race around.... the sounds and visuals have changed around us.... the air is filled with the sound of ringing bells n' chimes. We see twinkling lights and racing lights, Santa and angels, striped candy, chocolate and peppermint sticks. Everything is red and green and then there is more red and more green and ... yes, it is the Christmas holidays. Gifts... oh the choices are endless. Lucky we are to have so many choices.

Talk about choices... how about the choice of greeting cards! The Gourds have arrived.... to Thanksgiving dinner that is. I've so enjoyed creating these quirky characters and now they have found their way into an E-MotionCard!

Charming Food Characters

Gourd characters.... who would have known a pile of gourds would take me on this adventure!

All started out when I went to the farmer's market on Saturday and found a wonderful selection of colorful gourds begging to be discovered. I questioned myself as to what I would do with them and how I could use them for E-MotionCards. Answers didn't come, however, I've learned to trust my creative process...... I just get out of the way and let it all unfold. I found myself creating characters and actuallty laughing at myself for doing so. Quite honestly, I still don't know exactly how these characters will find themselves in e-cards but I trust ideas will come. In the meantime I am totally enjoying this escape into the world of "Gourdy" and "Ms. Go-Go-Gourdy"?

I'll keep you posted on this frivolous adventure in the land of gourds! In the meantime check out the new cards on E-MotionCards.

LIFE IN THE DAY OF A POODLE

One day I pulled the lounge chair out to take a short siesta; a rest in the warmth of the sun. There I laid for about ten minutes until the phone rang. After answering the phone I went out to lay in the sun a few more minute, alas, my chair was occupied. Yes, Potter had

decided to try it out obviously assuming what's good for me is good for him.

Potter my muse.... my constant inspiration.... but wait...... on this sunny summer afternoon I was his inspiration. Now you and I know that he would have been worlds warmer than I as he laid there with his dark thick coat on but he had to try it for himself..... sounds familiar doesn't it.

Looking at my past creations for new inspiration.... here is a summer window display I created. I love this zen approach...... sometimes it is the most successful approach as each element certainly takes on a high degree of importance! Had fun with this one.
